TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, the breadth is not narrow.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should round things out once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.

Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
